WHAT IS ADC?
The ADC is the premier organization for integrated media and the first international creative collective of its kind. Founded in New York in 1920, the ADC is a self-funding, not-for-profit membership organization that celebrates and inspires creative excellence, connecting creative visual communications professionals from around the world.

MISSION

To promote the highest standards of excellence and integrity in visual communications and to encourage students and young professionals entering the field. In short, to provide "visual fuel."

MANDATE

To provide a forum for creative leaders in Advertising, Design, Interactive Media and Communications to meet, learn, participate, and explore the direction for these rapidly evolving industries.

PROGRAMS

Throughout the year the ADC produces a wide range of programs on advertising, design, and interactive media for professionals, students, and others with a serious interest in visual communications. Photography Portfolio Review and Luncheon

This is an opportunity to meet exciting new photography talent and to view better known photographers' recent innovations. 75 photographers open their portfolios for an afternoon of reviews by leading creative professionals. This event takes place in the ADC Gallery once a year; it's intended for photographers who want to show their work and creatives interested in seeing what is happening in photography now. Illustration Portfolio Review and Luncheon

50 emerging and established illustrators with new work to show share their portfolios with leading advertising, publishing, and corporate design professionals. This event takes place once a year in the ADC Gallery and is open to illustrators wishing to show their work and creatives wishing to see new work. To be included in the review contact the ADC.

Paper Expo

This event at the ADC Gallery is open to practicing professionals who take responsibility for buying paper and overseeing professional printing. An opportunity to meet with paper and printing professionals, attendees learn what's new and have a chance to update their paper libraries. Leading paper manufacturers provide an evening of conversation, samples, and treats for all guests. This evening is open to working professionals only; however, students are invited to stop by the next day to pick up samples. To participate in this event please go here.
