He previously worked with Tony Granger at Saatchi & Saatchi NY, where he worked on brands including JC Penney, Crest, Olay and StuffIt.

In 2007, Icaro won five Cannes Lions, helping the agency to achieve 2007 Cannes International Agency of the Year. He also won 20 Clio Awards, and Saatchi was named 2007 Clios International Agency of the Year. That year Icaro was also named by Creativity Magazine as the Most Awarded Copywriter in the World.
