SATURDAY CAREER WORKSHOPS
Starting in 1997, the ADC along with the School Art League and New York Board of Education has offered a series of Saturday Career Workshops to 50 talented high school juniors from all five boroughs of New York City.

Each spring and fall, rising stars of design (including many of our own Young Guns) lead a series of Saturday Career Workshops for NYC public high school students. Students work with one creative each week to learn about graphic design, art direction, copy writing, or any number of different fields in communication.

On a typical Saturday, the leader gives a talk on his or her background, followed by a creative project assignment and group critique. At the end of the six-part series, students have a portfolio of quality work and a greater understanding of the design field.

The Spring 2013 workshops will be led by:
Karen Cohn
Jayson Atienza (YG5)
Jason Pacheco (YG5)
Jolene Delisle
Dan Savage (YGX)
Mads Jakob Poulsen (YG8)
